Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway’s Q2 adds Ulta, sheds Snowflake, others
In Q2, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.B) (NYSE:BRK.A) confirmed its hefty reduction in Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares, and disclosed new stakes in Heico Corp. (NYSE:HEI.A) with 1.04M shares and Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ:ULTA) with 690K shares, according to its 13F filing on Wednesday.
Ulta Beauty (ULTA) stock jumped 12% and Heico (HEI.A) rose 2.0% in after-hours trading.
The insurance behemoth also exited stakes in Paramount Global (NASDAQ:PARA) and Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW), and reduced its holdings in Chevron (NYSE:CVX) to ~119M shares from ~123M, Floor & Decor (NYSE:FND) to 2.68M shares from 4.78M, and Louisiana-Pacific (NYSE:LPX) to 5.96M shares from ~6.60M.
As Berkshire (BRK.B) had previously indicated, its stake in Apple (AAPL) dropped to 400M from 789M at the end of Q1.
It increased its holdings in Sirius XM (NASDAQ:SIRI) to ~133M shares from ~36.7M, in Occidental Petroleum (NYSE:OXY), as previously disclosed to 255M shares from 248M, and in Liberty Media Sirius XM series C shares (NASDAQ:LSXMK) to 70.0M shares from 65.5M and Liberty Media Sirius XM series A shares (NASDAQ:LSXMA) to 35. 2M shares from 32.8M, according to the filing.
