Cannabis giants Aurora Cannabis (NASDAQ:ACB) and Canopy Growth (NASDAQ:CGC) are scheduled to report their fiscal first-quarter results this week.
Analysts expect ACB to report an EPS of -$0.01 in this FQ1 print due on August 6, before market open. The consensus revenue estimate for the company is $70.68M.
Last quarter, the company’s shares declined after it projected temporary declines in some of its international markets for Q1, following regulatory changes in Poland.
“Adjusted EBITDA is projected to be sequentially below Q4 fiscal 2025 due to lower revenue contributions from the higher-margin international markets,” the management said, elaborating on its Q1 2026 outlook.
Within the international market, Australia will likely continue to be a key growth lever, as per Zacks Investment Research.
In Europe, solid growth in Germany likely drove fiscal first-quarter revenue, supported by cannabis de-scheduling and more patient registrations, while the U.K. business probably saw momentum from launching inhalable cannabis concentrates, as per the research firm.
Meanwhile, Canopy Growth, which is scheduled to report earnings on August 8, before market open, is seen posting an EPS of -$0.09 and revenue of $47.1M.
The company missed the consensus in the previous quarter, which the management attributed to lower revenue in Storz & Bickel and Poland and Australia medical businesses. The softness continued into Q1 fiscal 2026 with Storz & Bickel direct-to-consumer sales declining over 50% during the 420 promotional events compared to last year, the company added.
“We expect sales to decline in the first half of the year, with improvement expected in the second half of the year, driven by a new device launch planned for this fall,” the company had said about the vaporizer manufacturer.
Over the last 3 months, EPS estimates have seen no upward revisions and 1 downward move. Revenue estimates have also not seen any upward revisions but have witnessed 3 downward moves.
