In a holiday-shortened week, investors will look for durable goods data and new home sales data for November. Analysts are expecting a monthly slide of 0.4% for durable goods after a 0.2% advance in October, according to Investing.com. New-homes sales in November are seen coming in at 650K, above the 610K a month earlier, Investing.com showed. Meanwhile, Japan on Thursday will release its consumer price index for October. The consensus on Investing.com is for a 2.5% fall from the month before, even with the September’s print.

The earnings season’s wind down is nearly complete, with no major companies due to report quarter results next week.
