Bitfarms earns fewer bitcoins in September
- Canada-based cryptocurrency miner Bitfarms (NASDAQ:BITF) earned 217 bitcoins in September, compared to 233 in August and 411 in September 2023.
- BITF shares were trading +0.47% Tuesday pre-market at $2.12.
- The company sold 173 bitcoins during the month, compared to 147 a month ago and 362 in the prior-year period.
- Liquidity of $146M, including $73M in cash, was recorded on Sept. 30.
- “We remain on track to achieve 21 EH/s in the coming months and to double our operating capacity in 2025 with nearly 50% pro forma power capacity based in the U.S.,” said CEO Ben Gagnon.
