RFK Jr.’s MAHA report to target vaccine scheduling, food chemicals – report

An eagerly awaited report from HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as part of his “Make America Health Again” agenda that is scheduled for release on Thursday will likely take aim at childhood vaccine schedules and the use of additives used in ultra-processed foods.
The report also targets food and pharmaceutical industry lobbyists, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal. While the report is expected to raise concerns about pesticides and their impact on children’s health, it is not expected to call them unsafe. That could be considered a relief for Bayer (OTCPK:BAYZF)(OTCPK:BAYRY), which makes the heavily scrutinized weedkiller Roundup with glyphosate as its main ingredient.
However, the Journal noted that the document is likely to ask for a government health assessment of the herbicide in 2026.
The report is expected to call for bigger placebo-controlled trials of childhood vaccines. RFK Jr. and others who support his thinking about vaccines have posited — frequently without scientific evidence — that higher rates of childhood chronic diseases are related to these vaccines.
The report will target ultra-processed foods, which are usually laden with high levels of fat, sugar, and calories, and criticize federal nutrition guidelines for examining this.
In addition, the document will likely bring up use of smartphones by children, arguing that today’s younger generation is spending far less time in the outdoors than in the past.
