ICBA Payments, a manager of payment solutions for community banks, has renewed its four-decade partnership with payment network giant Visa (NYSE:V), it said on Wednesday.
ICBA Payments will continue its sponsored card programs with Visa (NYSE:V) — featuring contactless-enabled cards, tokenization for digital wallets and instant access to Visa’s global network — alongside cardholder communications, marketing and other operational services.
The renewed partnership also plans to expand providing streamlined access to Visa’s (V) real-time money movement platform and enabling community banks to deliver faster, more flexible payment experiences for consumers, small businesses and commercial clients.
Visa (V) is the trusted network of over 80% of ICBA member banks, Bill Dobbins, senior vice president and head of U.S. enablement at Visa, noted.
ICBA Payments, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, represents over $43B in credit and debit sales, $913.4M in outstandings and 10M cards issued.
